How Can I Become a Member?

To be eligible for membership at Saguache County Credit Union, you must meet at least one the following criteria:

1. You must live in Saguache County.
2. You must own property in Saguache County.
3. If you do not live in Saguache County, you may apply for membership if you live in Rio Grande or Alamosa County AND belong to a cooperative.

Saguache County Credit Union has only two requirements for sustaining membership:

1. You must have at least one Share Savings Account with SCCU.
2. You must maintain a minimum balance of $25.00 in your Share Account.

If you meet those two requirements when you sign up for your account, you can be a member of SCCU for as long as you want.
